William J. “Jody” Waller, 64, of Bath died peacefully with his family by his side at Bethlehem South Nursing and Rehab on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He was the husband of Stacy A. (McDaniel) Waller with whom he celebrated 30 years of marriage on February 6, 2023. Born in Knoxville, TN, he was the son of William K. Waller and the late Maureen (Moore) Waller. Jody received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee and was a member of Sigma Ki. Jody really enjoyed sports, especially the Tennessee Vols, Atlanta Braves and the PGA. Jody loved the SEC and cherished the Vols back-to-back championships in ‘97 & ‘98. Jody became an avid runner after his retirement. Jody was very fond of Christmas get togethers, family beach trips, and ballgames. He enjoyed grilling out, having picnics in the Smoky Mountains, throwing a baseball around, playing cards, and listening to Hootie and the Blowfish and Billy Joel with the family. He was a provider for his family and took great pride in the work he did. He always had a special place in his heart for our family pets, Pete, Callie, and Winnie. He always had a strong moral compass and would try to do right by everyone. He was quick to volunteer to help others who needed it. He always set a good example of how to be a gracious leader. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
