Mary Hatter Obituary

Mary Hatter, 78, of Bath, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of William Hatter, with whom she shared over 54 years of loving marriage. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Minnick) Mcgough. Mary was a graduate of Prendergast High School, class of 1963. She went on to earn her nursing degree from Mercer County Community College. Mary worked as a nurse for most of her life until retiring. She enjoyed walking and spending time with her family. 


Survivors: In addition to her loving husband Bill, she will be remembered by her sons David Urso and his wife Denise of San Diego, CA, Tom Urso and his wife Michelle of Doylestown, PA and Billy Hatter of Thayne, WY; siblings Joann and John Mcgough; grandchildren Olivia, Barrett, Lauren, Alexandra, Riley, Gideon and Delaney and her great grandchildren Ryder and Lane. 


Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Mary’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at 


Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
