He accomplished a 35 year teaching career within the Bethlehem Area School District as an Industrial Arts Teacher at Northeast Middle School and Washington Elementary School, Director of Student Co-Op program at Bethlehem Area Vo-Tech, Director of Interim School for potential drop-out students and then ended his career full circle as an Industrial Arts Teacher at East Hills Middle School. Lester was a member and served as President for the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 70. He was also a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
