Kathryn (Hoch) Novak, 81, of Center Valley, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, February 10, 2024, while in the care of Lehigh Valley Hospice. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin G. Novak. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Stummer) Hoch.
Kathryn's journey began as a student at Fountain Hill High School, where she graduated with the class of 1960. Her academic achievements were just the beginning of a life marked by dedication and hard work. Alongside her beloved husband, the late Edwin G. Novak, Kathryn embarked on a successful career as a self-employed land developer and builder. Together, they built not only structures but also a strong foundation for their family and community.
Kathryn's life was enriched by her passion for travel, an interest that she pursued with enthusiasm, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories. Her love for adventure was only surpassed by the time she spent with her grandchildren, moments that she treasured above all else.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Nanette Novak and Kimberly Amory and her husband David; her grandchildren, Ryan Snyder, and his wife Tiffany, as well as Niko Amory, who were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
