Joan L. Woolaver-Watson, 91, formerly of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, entered into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Saint Anne’s Home and Retirement Community, Fort Wayne, IN. She was the widow of John R. Woolaver and then John J. Watson. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Marguerite (nee: Gainey) Daubert. She was a graduate of Phillipsburg Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Joan was strong in her faith and her love for the Blessed Mother. She treasured her children (4), grandchildren (11), and great grandchildren (9). Joan had the gift of a joyful heart and imparted joy on everyone she encountered. She was an avid artist in her adult life and enjoyed creating beautiful works of art with oil paints and water colors.
Surviving Family Members include Daughters, Melanie, wife of Francis “Skip” Clifford of Bethlehem, PA.; Melissa, wife of Warren Fay of Flemington, NJ.; Mary Lynn wife of Kevin Podlaski of Fort Wayne, IN.; Son, John Woolaver of Cape Charles, VA.; several nieces and nephews. Special friend, Joe, who also resided at Saint Anne’s Community. Joan was predeceased by her brother, Richard Daubert and her daughter-in-law, Tess Woolaver.
Service: Funeral Mass 11:00AM on June 2nd at St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave., Bethlehem. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11:00 AM Friday in the church.
