Obituary

 

Jeffrey A. LaRose, 69, of Hanover Twp., passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Loretta (Frey) LaRose with whom he shared over 44 years of loving marriage. Born on March 25, 1954 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Kermit L. and Virginia E. (Lamborn) LaRose.

 

Jeff was a graduate of Moravian Academy and Susquehanna University. He worked at PB&NE Railroad and Lehigh Valley Rail Management until he retired in 2016. He was a member of Advent Moravian Church, Bethlehem. Jeff was a huge family man and a good friend to many, with a fantastic sense of humor. He loved his sports, especially golf.

 

A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Jeff will be lovingly remembered by his wife Loretta; son, James LaRose; daughter, Danielle Koren and husband Ryan; grandsons, Asher and Benson Koren; his faithful dog, Dixie.

 

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com. 

 

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Jeff to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
