James Daniel Grossett, 68, of of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Sheila (Hughes) Grossett with whom he shared over 10 years of loving marriage. Born on July 5, 1954 in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Joseph Grossett Jr., and Marguerite (Apgar) Francisco.
James worked as a truck mechanic for Mascaro, New England Motor Freight, and Coopersburg Kenworth. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. James loved bowling always striving for a 300 and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors: James will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sheila; daughters, Kate Sanders and Melissa Carr; stepson, James N. Ardle; 2 grandchildren; sister Mary Tzope. He was predeceased by his brothers, John and Joseph Grossett III.
Services: A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00A.M. until the time of service.
