Dorothy R. (Inhoff) Fernandes

Dorothy Rita (Inhoff) Fernandes, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 in the care of St. Luke’s Hospice House. She was the Widow of Charles Fernandes. Born on August 23, 1935 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Paul Inhoff, Mary (Madura) Inhoff Zulovich, and stepfather, Nicholas Zulovich.

Dorothy was a devoted mother always putting her family and home first. She worked parttime for Nitschmann Middle School in the Cafeteria for over 20 years until she retired. She was an active member of Ss Simon and Jude Church, Bethlehem. She would look forward to going to Mass every Sunday with breakfast to follow with her daughter Deborah. She enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City with her beloved husband, playing bingo, watching Wheel of Fortune, and QVC. Above all she cherished her time spent with her family.

Survivors:  Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Deborah Fernandes, and Donna Fernandes; son, Charles Fernandes (Elisa); grandson Christopher; step-grandchildren Luis, Bryan and Nicole; niece, Carole Allen (Steven); nephews, Charles Inhoff (Mary), Jeffrey Nicholas, Alvin Nicholas (Brenda). She was predeceased by her brother, Charles “Sonny” Inhoff.

Services: A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM in Ss Simon and Jude Catholic Church 730 W. Broad St Bethlehem 18018. Burial to follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
