Bonnie L. (Leibensperger) Holland

Bonnie L. Holland, 71, of Allentown died Friday, May 26, 2023 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.  She was the beloved wife of Luther G. Holland, Jr. with whom she celebrated 44 years of marriage on June 26, 2022.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Betty J. (Gaugler) Leibensperger of Center Valley and the late Leroy A. Leibensperger.  Bonnie was a 1970 graduate of Freedom High School and she received her Bachelor Degree from the Kutztown State Teacher’s College, now known as Kutztown University, in 1974.  She was a substitute teacher and teacher’s aide for the Salisbury School District and a bank teller for the former Merchants Bank, Allentown.  Bonnie enjoyed gardening, jogging, swimming, cross stitch, reading, crypto quotes in the Morning Call.  A talented piano player, she loved the music of Billy Joel.  Bonnie was a dutiful daughter, helpful sister, devoted wife and mother.

Survivors: Husband; mother; daughter, Melissa A. Holland of Emmaus, brother, Dennis L. Leibensperger of Ridley Park.

Service: Memorial Service 3:00PM Friday, June 2, 2023 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem.  Family and friends may call from 2 to 3:00PM Friday, June 2, 2023 at the funeral home.  Interment is private.
