Dino Cantelmi

Dino Cantelmi

Owner & Funeral Director/Supervisor

A 1990 graduate of Northampton Community College, Dino received his certificate in Mortuary Science in 1990. Today, he continues the tradition of Cantelmi Funeral Home and Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, in his father's footsteps. Besides being a licensed funeral director, Dino is the Supervisor of Cantelmi Long Funeral Home in Bethlehem. He is a member of St. Anne's Church in Bethlehem, Bethlehem Morningstar Rotary, Bethlehem Lodge #283 F. & A.M.,  K.O.C. Trinity Council #313 and is currently the Chairman of the Bethlehem Parking Authority.  In his spare time, Dino enjoys fishing, golfing, playing the drums and spending time with his family. He resides in Bethlehem along with his wife, Joanna (Villani) and their four children, Bianca, Ethan, Dino, Jr., Isabella and their two dogs, Nellie and  Lily.

Justin A. Keiper

Funeral Director/Supervisor

Born and raised in Bethlehem, Justin is a 2013 graduate of Liberty High School. Justin attended Northampton Community College where he earned his associates degree in Funeral Service. While enrolled in the Funeral Service program, he was the President of Sigma Phi Sigma the Funeral Service Education Club, a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, a Louise Moore Pine scholarship recipient and a Wegmans Scholar. Justin received his Pennsylvania Funeral Director’s license as of October 2016. He is the Board Chair of the local chapter of the American Heart Association, board member for the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Lehigh Valley Young Republicans, the Goodfellows Club, and a board member of the Fountain Hill Cemetery. He also served as a Real Man in the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign of 2018 for the American Cancer Society Lehigh Valley Chapter. Besides being a licensed funeral director, Justin is the Supervisor of Cantelmi Funeral Home in Fountain Hill. He is also a certified crematory operator. He currently resides in Bethlehem.

Ryan G. Foust

Funeral Director

Ryan is a native of Treverton, PA. He grew up working for his father's funeral home in Treverton. He later graduated from Northampton Community College in 2011. Ryan did his internship and worked for Schantz Funeral Home, PC in Emmaus. He then worked for Bitner Family Funeral Homes in Harrisburg, and Thomas Bensing Funeral Home, Inc. in Stroudsburg. Ryan currently works for Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes in Bethlehem and Fountain Hill. He is also a certified cremation operator. He currently resides in Kunkletown, PA.

Sonya R. Siegfried

We are pleased to announce that Sonya Siegfried has joined our staff at Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes.  She brings with her 36 years of experience in the funeral industry, having served as a pre-need director, general manager and supervisor of a local Lehigh Valley Funeral Home.   Sonya received her Mortuary Science Degree from Northampton Community College in 1986.  Sonya has served on several boards in the Lehigh Valley, including the Lehigh Conference of Churches, Allentown Symphony Association and the Lehigh County Historical Society where she served as President.  She has been active with Phoebe’s Institute on Aging and served on the Westminster Village Capital Campaign.  As a member of SOTA, Sonya has served as treasurer of the Luncheon with the Authors committee for several years and was active with one of SOTA’s show homes.  For over 25 years, she organized the collection for the Christmas Day event for the Soup Kitchen of the Lehigh Conference of Churches.  Sonya is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown where she has served as a trustee, elder and usher.  She and her husband Todd reside in Allentown along with their 3 dogs, Kasey, Emilee and Tony.

Todd Siegfried

We are pleased to announce that Todd Siegfried has joined our staff at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home.  Todd received his Mortuary Science Degree from Northampton Community College in 1986.  Todd joined Cantelmi Long Funeral Home after 31 years in the funeral industry.  He specializes in technical preparations and restorative art.  Todd is a member of Allentown Kiwanis Club where he has served as President.  He has also served as President of the Foundation Board.  Todd is a 32nd degree Mason, and is a member of Porter Lodge #284, Catasauqua and a member of the Valley of Allentown, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Consistory of Allentown.  In addition, he is a member of Shriners of North America (Rajah Shrine), Blandon, Hillbilly Degree – Clan #9 of Allentown, and the National Wild Turkey Federation.  He is currently on the board of the Police Athletic League (PAL) of Allentown.  He has been active with the Allentown Symphony Association, Kress Society of the Allentown Art Museum and the Lehigh County Historical Society.  He is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Allentown where he has served as a Deacon and currently is an usher.  For over 25 years, Todd has portrayed Santa Claus for various local non-profit organizations in the Lehigh Valley.  Todd lives in Whitehall along with his wife Sonya with their 3 dogs, Kasey, Emilee and Tony.

Aubrey O'Byrne

Funeral Director/Advanced Planning

Born and raised in Pottstown, PA; Aubrey is a 5th generation funeral director where she relocated to Bethlehem in 2012. She is a 2009 graduate from Northampton Community College with an Associate’s degree in Funeral Service Education and a Certified Crematory Operator. Aubrey was known for her talents in the family sport of Soap Box Derby during her younger years. She and her husband Robert, are active with Aardvark’s Sports Shop in Bethlehem, Team Vark program, is a member of Team RWB Lehigh Valley Chapter and is on the Food and Beverage Committee for the Celtic Classic. Aubrey, her husband, Robert and daughter, Reagan reside in Bethlehem Township with their dog, Maggie and two cats, Whitey and Blacky; She loves being outdoors, running long distance and being active in the community.

Operation Manager/Monuments and Memorialization

Michael is originally from Wilkes-Barre, PA. Michael always had an interest in Funeral Service. He was raised next door to his uncle Matt's funeral home (the former Matthew T. Jacobs Funeral Home at 47 Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre.) Michael moved to Bethlehem and attended the funeral service program at Northampton Community College in the early 1990's. He spent most of his career with Dun & Bradstreet until 2018. Michael currently works as the Operations Manager and helps families with Monuments and Memorialization for Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes in Bethlehem and Fountain Hill. He lives in Bethlehem with his husband Joe, and their two West Highland Terriers Violet and Ward.

Born and raised in Fountain Hill. Lori is a graduate from Liberty High School and Allentown Business School. Lori is Dino's sister, and has proudly been part of her family's business since the passing of her Father in 2015. She has the pleasure of assisting in the office with the everyday interaction and with families. Lori is married to Robert, they live in Allentown and have four daughters Nicole, Marisa, Madisan and Maya and have two grandchildren Jaelyn and Ronnie. Lori enjoys spending her free time with her family and her canine companions.

Born and raised in Bethlehem, Ethan is a 2018, graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Communications degree from Syracuse University, class of 2022. Ethan is the son of Dino and Joanna Cantelmi and grandson to the late Dino P. Cantelmi, founder of Cantelmi Funeral Home. Ethan is currently attending the Funeral Service program at Northampton Community College, class of 2024 to become a licensed funeral director. He currently resides in Bethlehem.

Lorie is a native of Bethlehem, PA and graduated from Freedom High School. She also holds a Bachelor's degree from Penn State University and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Lehigh University. Lorie joined Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes in 2017. She currently serves as a Funeral Assistant at the Bethlehem and Fountain Hill locations. Lorie resides in Bethlehem with her husband and has three adult children.

Jack is a native of Mahanoy City PA. After graduating from Mahanoy Area High School, he enlisted in The United States Army making it his career, retiring in 2006 after thirty years of service. Jack joined Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes as a Funeral Assistant in January 2019. Jack resides in Allentown with his wife Donna and they have a son, Robert and daughter, Kimberly, and have three grandchildren Maxwell, Brynlee and Brianna.

Meet Oreo!

Oreo is our sweet and playful therapy dog.  He is an adorable, fun and smart 5-year old Shih Tzu mix, who loves being petted and giving kisses.

Oreo is a certified therapy dog by Pleasure of Your Company Therapy Dogs.  

He is available upon request, to provide comfort to our families during arrangements, viewings and funerals.

Ronald J. Koach, Jr, aka "Koach" has been at Cantelmi Funeral Home for over 25yrs. Ron was former General Manager of the Former Madden Funeral Home the last of the original Southside funeral homes for over 30 yrs. Ron is the Assistant Director of Catholic Campus Ministry at Lehigh University working for the Diocese of Allentown and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Newman Foundation at Lehigh also Member of the Pastors Advisory Council, Lector, Eucharistic Minister & Cook at the former St. John Capistrano Church, and currently Holy Ghost Church and Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, all in South Beth. Ron is well known in Bethlehem and active other in various activities in the Community.


Dino P. Cantelmi, Sr.

Dino P. Cantelmi, Sr.

(1936-2015) Founder of Cantelmi Funeral Home

Dino, Sr. served in the U.S. Army stationed in Ft. Richardson, Alaska, during the Korean Conflict from 1954-1955. Through the Army, he was interested in the graves registration department that started his career in Funeral Service. He graduated from Lincoln Prep. in Philadelphia in 1956 and later attended Muhlenberg college. He then graduated from the former Eckel's College of Mortuary Science in 1959. He worked for Joseph Levine & Sons in Philadelphia and later did his internship with the former Steyer's Funeral Home in Bethlehem. Dino started his own Funeral Home in his parents home on Packer Avenue in Bethlehem in 1963, then moved the funeral home to 1311 Broadway in Fountain Hill. He lived in Fountain Hill above the Funeral Home with his wife, Karen. They have four children, Dino, Lori, Tara and Christopher. They also have 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Dino passed away on November 22, 2015.


Wallace M. 'Wally' Long

Wallace M. "Wally" Long

(1930-2015) Founder of Long Funeral Home

Wally was a native of Hamburg, PA, and served as a mortician in the US Army during the Korean War. After the war, he became a Funeral Director in Berks and Schuylkill counties, initially establishing the Long Funeral Home in Oley, PA. In 1964, Wally purchased the Steyers Funeral Home at 500 Linden St. in Bethlehem, and moved his business there. Wally provided his clients with excellent service, compassion and attention to family details, and his business prospered. Prior to his retirement, Wally was involved in many community organizations and served on the Board of Directors for several local businesses and organizations. He greatly enjoyed driving the unique cars in his classic car collection. He was a member of Central Moravian Church in Bethlehem. Wally passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.

Until recently retiring, Bob worked for the Borough of Fountain Hill for 28 years. He managed the public works department. He lived in Fountain Hill with his wife of 44 years Gwen (Frey). They have 3 married sons, Bob and his wife Michele, Mike and his wife Colleen and Chris and his wife Natalee. They also has 6 grandchildren.
