Kay Potter, Secretary
Kay has been the secretary at the Long Funeral Home since 1999. Hers is probably the first voice you will hear on the phone when you call us, and she very capably handles our daily administration activities. Kay is a member of the First Baptist Church of Bethlehem.

Students
Our funeral home has supported the Funeral Service Education program at Northampton Community College since its inception, so we often have students serving their field study or funeral director internship periods with us. We believe that our hands-on opportunities are very important for the students, training them to handle a wide breadth of professional challenges, and helping them to pursue a personally rewarding profession.  We currently have two young men, Alex Maher and Jacob Bednar, working in this capacity. We hope that you have the chance to meet these outstanding young people as they launch their careers in funeral service.
