Catherine Lukens

   Catherine P. Lukens, 34, of Bethlehem, was taken home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. She was the wife of Terrence Roderick, Sr.

    Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of Robert S. and Pyong-Im (Pak) Lukens, Jr., with whom she resided.  A 1994 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, she later worked for J&J Limousine and for the Morning Call.  She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Bethlehem, and also a member of St. James AME Zion church in Allentown.  She enjoyed raising her daughter, and singing with the Singing Stars of the Lehigh Valley.

    Survivors:  husband; daughter Jha-Dia Meyong-Ja Roderick, at home; stepsons Terrence Roderick, Jr. of Vienna, Austria, Troy Boettinger of Whitehall, Nicholas Quinn of Northampton, Jovan Ferreira of Allentown; brother Paul F. Lukens of Allentown; paternal grandmother Dorothy Comegys of Bethlehem; granddaughter Cianna Roderick.  She will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends.  

    Service:   Memorial Service at 10:30 AM Monday, March 8 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 E. Market St., Bethlehem, where friends may call from 9:30 AM until time of services.  Arrangements entrusted to Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.longfuneralhome.com
