Estelle M. Rabuck

    Estelle M. Rabuck, 88, of Hanover Township, passed away with her family at her side on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Pleasant View Center in Concord, NH.  Born on June 28, 1921 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Noah C. and Edith (Turner) Main. 

    After completing high school, Estelle attended the Missionary Training Institute in Nyack, NY.  She later became a Registered Nurse after earning her RN diploma at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.  She worked as a supervisor of student nurses at the McCoy College of Johns Hopkins University and was later employed as an RN at several medical facilities, including the Allentown Sacred Heart Hospital and Westminster Village in the Lehigh Valley.

    Estelle was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem.  She was also an avid member of many bridge clubs over the years.

    Survivors include: her daughter Nancy R. Wilson and husband Christopher of Huntsville, Texas; daughter Shirley J. Baker of Walden, NY; son Robert J. Rabuck of Concord, NH; six grandchildren (Kimberly, Amy, Christine, Joseph, Jackson, and Samuel); and four great-grandchildren.  Estelle was pre-deceased by her husband, Paul J. Rabuck, a sister, Jane Shipley, and two brothers, William and James Martin Main.

     Services: Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, at 11 AM in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St, Bethlehem.  Calling hours are Friday from 7-9 PM in the Long Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be made at www.longfuneralhome.com
