![]() Warren Hutchison Service Times Warren S. Hutchison Warren S. “Hutch” Hutchison, 89, formerly of Ringoes, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 19, 2010, at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Norma (Heywood) Hutchison, and of Gloria (Nevins) McMillan Hutchison, with whom he shared over 42 years of loving marriage. Born in Collingdale, PA, he was a son of the late Ross and Edith (Becker) Hutchison. He joined the Army Air Force after high school, and served in Italy during WWII. He later graduated from the RCA Institute, and then worked as a machinist technician for RCA in the R&D department, helping to develop color tubes for color TV and working on the cameras for the first space missions. He was an active model railroad, toy train, and live steam railroad enthusiast. Most recently, he was a member of the Moravian Village Mountain Railway Lionel Standard Gauge Train Display. He was also a member of the Train Club of America. As a young boy, he once met John Philip Sousa, and ever since he enjoyed Sousa’s music, as well as classical, bagpipe and ragtime music. He also enjoyed reading poems by Edna St. Vincent Millay. He loved cats, had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a very devoted father and husband. Survivors: wife; children Susan Hutchison of Allentown, Carol Hutchison and husband Robert Bittner of Sugar Grove, WV, David Hutchison and wife Charlene of Quakertown, Michael McMillan and wife Solvey of Bethlehem, Dawn McMillan of Lancaster, MA; grandchildren Ryan Hutchison, Chuck Hutchison, Rebecca Hutchison-Groller, Lucas Chauvet; brother Leroy Hutchison and wife Ann of Arizona.
