Robert J. Frankett
Robert “Bob” J. Frankett, 81, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Shirley E. (Angle) Frankett, with whom he shared over 61 years of marriage.
Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Henry A. and Martina E. (Stoffel) Frankett. A sergeant and U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, Bob worked as a Foreman in the Brick Laying Department of Bethlehem Steel for 38 years until retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Christ Church U.C.C. in Bethlehem and the National American Legion.
Survivors: In addition to his wife; daughter, Nancy E. Costa and her husband Greg of Bethlehem; son, James R. Frankett and his wife Esther of Palmer Township; sister, Evelyn Shepard of Bethlehem and 3 grandchildren; Jamie Frankett of Philadelphia, Jay Frankett of Bethlehem and Jenni Kuhns, her husband Stephen and their daughter Olivia of Whitehall. Robert was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Malozzi and brothers Carl, Harry and Francis Frankett.
