Gilbert Rosenberg Obituary
Gilbert Rosenberg, age 95, beloved husband of 63 years to Minerva (Goldsher) Rosenberg, and formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 16, 2016, in his home in Aventura, FL.
Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Louis and Sadie Rosenberg. Gilbert served his country in the US Army Air Corps during WW II. He was a government worker, and active in the Jewish communities in Bethlehem, Washington DC, and Aventura, FL. Gilbert was a former member of Congregation Brith Sholom in Bethlehem. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors: wife Minerva; son Dr. Jeffrey Rosenberg and his wife Joni; daughter Lisa (Rosenberg) Kitts and her husband Thomas; grandchildren Elijah, Hayley, Julia, and Ellis.
Services: A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Sunday morning, June 19, at Brith Sholom Cemetery, Graham St., Fountain Hill. Funeral arrangements entrusted to The Long Funeral Home, Inc., Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
